2019 Toyota Supra debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

The 2019 Toyota Supra is almost here and Toyota just gave the world an preview of the new sports car with the debut of a camouflaged Supra prototype at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The prototype dubbed A90 showed off its potential to the crowd as it tackled the festival’s hill course.

Toyota is still keeping all the good details under wraps, but it has confirmed that the 2019 Supra will be powered by an in-line six-cylinder engine when it goes on sale in the first half of 2019.

Reports have claimed that the 2019 Supra will borrow its engine from BMW, which will be a 3.0L six-cylinder with 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. The six-cylinder will not be offered with a manual transmission, so hopefully you’ll be ok with an automatic. An entry-level 2.0L four-cylinder has also been rumored and prices for the six-cylinder version will reportedly start at $63,500.
