Right now the only model you can build online is the top-spec Model X P90D Signature edition, which comes with a 90-kWh battery pack. It’s definitely not cheap with a price tag set at $133,200 with the destination charge. Don’t worry, cheaper versions will be available after the Signature edition arrives. It’s expected that the base Model X will be priced in the $70k range.

In addition to the pricing, the online configurator also reveals that the Model X P90D will have an estimated driving range of 240 miles and a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. The front motor also generates 259 horsepower, while the rear adds another 503 horsepower. If you choose to add the $40k ‘Ludicrous Speed’ option, the Model X will reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds.

If you place your reservation now, Tesla estimates that you won’t receive your Model X until early 2016. If you were lucky enough to place your reservation earlier, the first deliveries are expected to begin later this month.
