Nissan has announced that the 2018 Nissan Leaf is being produced at its plant in Smyrna, Tennessee and that the new Leaf will be available next month. The 2018 Nissan Leaf will also be available in all 50 states, starting at $30,875.

The 2018 Leaf not only gets a longer 150-mile driving range, but is also available with ProPILOT Assist technology, which helps drivers navigate stop-and-go traffic by controlling acceleration, braking and steering during single-lane highway driving. The 2018 Nissan Leaf also incorporates standard Nissan Intelligent Mobility features including: Automatic Emergency Braking and e-Pedal technology that lets drivers accelerate and stop using a single pedal.

If you were hoping for a longer driving range, like the Chevy Bolt or Tesla Model 3, wait until the arrival of the 2019 Leaf, which is going to introduce a second battery option.
