Nissan has announced the pricing for the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport, which will arrive in showrooms next month with a price starting at $22,380 with the destination fees applied. The 2017 Rogue Sport is a smaller version of the Rogue and slots in between the Juke and standard Rogue in Nissan’s crossover lineup.
If you live in Europe you may recognize the Rogue Sport, since it’s sold as the Qashqai in Europe. Compared to the Rogue, the Rogue Sport is 12 inches shorter with a 2.3-inch shorter wheelbase. Even though it is smaller, it can still fit up to five passengers and has 22.9 cubic feet of cargo space.
The Rogue Sport is powered by a 141-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that’s mated to a standard CVT Xtronic transmission. All-wheel drive is a $1,350 option.
There are lots of options to choose from, like leather seats, heated front seats, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, a Divide-N-Hide Cargo System and NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps. Nissan’s Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and Intelligent Cruise Control is optional. The Rogue Sport will be offered in S, SV and SL trim levels.
With the addition of the new Rogue Sport model, the Rogue lineup will easily hold onto the title as Nissan’s best selling model in the US.
