It seems like almost everyday now we have some new news on the upcoming Toyota FT-86/ Scion FR-S and BRZ rear-wheel-drive coupes. Last week we saw our first unofficial view of the FT-86/ Scion FR-S thanks to two different brochure scans. Now thanks to a leaked training document we have our first look at the official specs.
The FT-86 and the Scion FR-S version will be powered by a 200-hp boxer engine with 151 lb-ft. of torque. The boxer engine can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic. The base trim will weigh just under 2,700 pounds. It looks like there will be two trim levels with the top trim getting front LED lighting, 17-inch wheels and the smart entry and start system.
Last week it was rumored that Subaru’s version of the coupe would be more powerful than the Scion FR-S.
