The C-Class Cabriolet will go head-to-head with rivals, like the BMW 4-Series and Audi A5. Since the C-Class Cabriolet is basically a drop top version of the C-Class Coupe, it’s not a surprise that most of the styling is identical, except the retractable soft top. The soft top is available in four colors and it can be lowered or raised in less than 20 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph.

Inside, the interior is also very close to the coupe, but the standard Airscarf neck-level heating system will keep you warm when the top is down. Heat-reflecting leather seats are also an option.

Buyers in the U.S. will be able to choose between the C300 Cabriolet and C43 AMG. The C300 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of torque. The four-cylinder is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and buyers can choose optional all-wheel drive. The C300 Cabriolet reaches 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 130 mph.

If you need more power, the C43 AMG is powered by a biturbo 3.0L V6 engine that generates 362 hp and 384 lb-ft. of torque. The V6 is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-biased all-wheel drive. It will only take 4.7 seconds to reach 60 mph and its top speed is slightly higher at 155 mph.
