2015 VW Jetta Gets a Few Styling Upgrades

VW has unveiled the updated 2015 VW Jetta sedan, which is going to debut later this week at the New York Auto Show.

VW has unveiled the updated 2015 VW Jetta sedan, which is going to debut later this week at the New York Auto Show. From first glance you probably can’t see the changes, but there are tiny tweaks to the exterior and interior to keep the Jetta fresh.

From the front the 2015 Jetta gets a new grille with active shutters and a restyled lower air intake. The restyled three bar grille is similar to the Passat, but the headlights remain unchanged. For the first time HID headlights and LED running lights are available on lower trim levels. The rear of the 2015 Jeta gets an updated trunk lid, new taillights and updated taillights.

Inside the 2015 Jetta gets a new center stack, new A/C controls and a new steering wheel. The interior trim pieces are now supposed to be higher quality than before. The 2015 Jetta will also get new safety features like Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Frontal Collision Warning.

The Jetta is powered by naturally-aspirated 115-hp 2.0L, 170-hp turbocharged 1.8L, 210-hp turbocharged 2.0L and a new 2.0L TDI diesel engine. The hybrid powertrain also carries over.

The 2015 Jetta is expected to arrive in the third quarter of 2014.
