GM has released the fuel economy specs for the 2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon V6 midsize pickups, which get up to 26 mpg on the highway.
Both pickups can be powered by either a 200-hp 2.5L four-cylinder or a 3.6L V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. GM hasn’t released the fuel economy specs for the four-cylinder, but the V6 is rated at 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway for the rear-wheel-drive pickups. If you choose the optional four-wheel-drive system, the specs drop to 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. The midsize pickups with the V6 are more fuel efficient than the Toyota Tacoma V6, which only gets up to 21 mpg on the highway.
