It’s no secret that MINI’s sales have been declining over the last few years. There’s even reports that MINI may transition into an all-electric brand in the future, but that doesn’t mean that its current models are already going away. It’s being reported that the 2019 MINI Cooper hardtop and convertible models are getting a facelift, which will debut next week at the Detroit Auto Show.
Automotive News is reporting that MINI will reveal freshened versions of the convertible and three-door hardtop next week. Don’t expect anything dramatic, since the facelift is being called “light.” Improved technology is also part of the updates.
Recent spy photos have shown that there will likely be tweaks to the headlights and new taillights, MINI’s new logo will be added to the grille.
The facelift will hopefully keep sales steady until the next-gen MINI Cooper arrives in 2021.
