McLaren will release 18 new models by 2025

McLaren has announced the details of its new business plan called Track25, which will see the automaker release 18 new models by 2025. Track25 is an evolution of the Track22 plan that was announced in 2016 and includes new plans, including a fully hybrid lineup.

By launching 18 new models over the next seven years, McLaren hopes that it will help lift production by almost 75 percent to around 6,000 cars a year. By 2025 all of McLaren’s models will also be powered by hybrid powertrains and McLaren has also announced that one of the new models it’s working on is a successor to the McLaren P1TM.

In addition to the new models, McLaren will also introduce technologies to improve the owning experience, like enhanced cyber protection, improved vehicle tracking and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Lastly McLaren is looking at expanding the markets that it’s in and is currently evaluating several major new markets including Russia, India and Central/Eastern Europe.
