If you think the Mazda CX-3 is too small for your tastes and you aren’t quite sold on the larger CX-5, Mazda has something new for you. Mazda has just unveiled the CX-30 crossover, which will slot in between the CX-3 and CX-5.

The Mazda CX-30 was unveiled today at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The CX-30 is a compact crossover with room for four passengers.

“We designed the CX-30 to be an essential partner in the customer’s daily life,” said Akira Marumoto, Mazda’s Representative Director, President and CEO.

The CX-30 will be offered with Mazda’s latest Skyactiv-X, Skyactiv-G andSkyactiv-D engines, but Mazda has not released the specs. The Skyactiv-G 2.0 and Skyactiv-X will come mated with M Hybrid, a new mild hybrid system. The all-wheel-drive system also features G-Vectoring Control.

Sales of the CX-30 will kick off this summer in Europe before it goes on sale worldwide. Mazda has not announced when the CX-30 will be available in the US.
