Lexus has announced the pricing for the 2019 Lexus UX compact crossover, which is going to arrive in December. The 2019 UX 200 will start at $33,025, including the destination fees, while the UX 250h hybrid starts at $35,025.
The 2019 Lexus UX debuted earlier this year as the brand’s first entry in the compact luxury crossover segment, which includes rivals like the Audi Q3 and BMW X1. The UX is the first model to be based on the brand’s new Global Architecture Compact (GA-C).
Under the hood the 2019 UX 200 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder that generates 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of torque that’s mated to a new Direct-Shift CVT. The 2019 UX 250h hybrid gets the same 2.0L engine, but it’s mated to two electric motors to give it a total 175 horsepower. Only the UX 250h is offered with all-wheel drive, since it employs an additional 7-hp electric motor at the rear axle.
For buyers that want a sportier look, both UX models will be available with the F Sport package, which adds a sportier suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, more aggressive front and rear fascias and front sports seats.
