Jaguar recently took the 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 to Laguna Seca, where the 595-hp sedan set a new record. The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 lapped the 2.238-mile Laguna Seca track in 1 minute and 37.54 seconds. Jaguar now says that the XE SV Project 8 is “the world’s fastest four-door car.”
The 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 with 595-hp that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It only takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and the sedan has a top speed of 200 mph.
