Jaguar has unveiled the 2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake, which is going to be sold alongside the XF sedan in the U.S. The 2018 XF Sportbrake will be the latest wagon option for the “anti-SUV” crowd when it arrives later this year.
The 2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake will rival the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon and Volvo V90
The XF Sportbrake has up to 60 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats down and a still usable 20 cubic feet when the rear seats are in use. The XF Sportbrake gets a self-leveling rear suspension keep handling in check, even when towing 4,400 pounds. Under the hood buyers will find Jaguar’s new Ingenium gas and diesel four-cylinder engines, but in the U.S. we can also expect Jaguar’s excellent supercharged V6s to be offered.
Inside there’s a new intuitive gesture-controlled sunblind for the Sportbrake’s, panoramic roof, Driver Condition Monitoring to detect signs of tiredness after an active day and a waterproof Activity Key you can wear while playing sports. Customers can also specify Cabin Air Ionization, which purifies air to provide protection against environmental pollution.
“The iconic Jaguar posters of the 1950s promised customers grace, pace and space,” stated Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design. “The XF Sportbrake re-imagines this offer for 21st-century active families, with stunning looks, sports car performance and a load space fit for active lifestyles.”
