Honda has unveiled the updated 2018 Honda Fit, which is getting a small facelift, a new Sport trim level and the availability of Honda Sensing. The new 2018 Fit is scheduled to arrive next month.
The 2018 Honda Fit now offers three trim levels
The 2018 Honda Fit has small updates to the front and rear to give it a sportier look. From the front the grille now features a horizontally layered, two-piece chrome and piano black grille with a larger, more prominent “H” logo. The headlights have also been updated and the front bumper now has top chrome accents and features a full-width splitter and more angular fog lights pods.
The rear of the 2018 Fit gets a redesigned bumper featuring a full-width character line in piano black and a splitter-shaped lower section. The updates to the rear are finished off with new taillights.
The LX and EX trim levels return, but now the 2018 Fit is available in a new Sport trim level that is positioned between the other two trim levels. The new Fit Sport has a more aggressive exterior with aero form features at the front, sides and rear, and a low and sharp front splitter highlighted in bright orange. It rides on black 16-inch alloy wheels and at the rear there’s a three-strake diffuser with bright orange upper trim line, chrome exhaust finisher and a Sport badge.
The Honda Sensing safety suite is available on LX and Sport trims and standard on the EX models. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Brake Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System with Lane Departure Warning and Road Departure Mitigation with Road Departure Warning.
Lastly the 2018 Honda Fit is available in two new colors: Helios Yellow Pearl (replacing Mystic Yellow) and Orange Fury.
