GMC has unveiled the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4, the more off-road ready version of the all-new 2019 Sierra. The Sierra AT4 is the first model from GMC’s new AT4 sub-brand, which will eventually be offered in each of its models.
To give it more capability off-road the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 gets a 2-inch suspension lift, a 4WD with a two-speed transfer case, locking rear differential, skid plates and off-road-tuned Rancho monotube shock absorbers. The Sierra AT4 rides on standard 18-inch wheels, but 20-inch wheels are available. To make it easier to drive when the pavement ends, it also gets a hill descent control and a traction select systems. The Sierra AT4 comes standard with a 5.3L V8, but a 6.2L V-8 or Duramax 3.0L turbo-diesel paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission are optional.
The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 stands out from the rest of the 2019 Sierra models with its unique front and rear bumpers and grille surround that are finished in body color. The grille itself is finished in black chrome in addition to the fog lamp bezels and fender trim. A high-gloss black finish has been applied to the window trim, mirror caps and skid plate. There are also touches of red to make the AT4 stand out.
Inside the interior also continues the darkened theme from the exterior with dark-tinted and textured aluminum finishes on the steering wheel, center stack and sill plates, as well as a unique Jet Black/Kalahari color accents in the leather seats.
The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 arrives this fall.
