Ford is slated to introduce the latest version of the Mustang, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show in January, but here’s a preview.
Instagram user has posted photos of the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, which was recently unveiled behind closed doors at a dealer meeting. Compared to the GT350R, the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 will look even more aggressive thanks to a new front fascia, larger rear wing and meatier tires.
Ford hasn’t confirmed what will power the Mustang Shelby GT500, but it’s being reported that it will get 5.2L supercharged V8 with approximately 720 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque. Luckily we shouldn’t have to wait too long to get all the official details.
