discovered the trademark, which was filed with the European Intellectual Property Office. The “Mustang Mach-E” trademark follows the “Mach-E” name, which Ford trademarked last year. It’s expected that the Mach-E name will be used for Ford’s upcoming Mustang-inspired electric SUV.
It’s rumored that the Mustang Hybrid will arrive around 2022, so it might be a while until we hear if it will be called the Mustang Mach-E. Another report also claims that while the Mustang is slated to get a significant refresh around the time that the Mustang Hybrid debuts, the next-generation Mustang isn’t going to arrive until around 2026.
