2019 Ford Edge ST arrives with 335 horsepower

Ford is expanding its high-performance ST lineup with the introduction of the 2019 Ford Edge ST. The 2019 Edge ST joins the refreshed 2019 Edge lineup and also signals the introduction of the first ever ST badged Ford SUV.

The 2019 Ford Edge ST has been tuned by the Ford Performance Team and is powered by a 2.7L twin-turbocharged V6 that generates 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft. of torque. The V6 is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard. Other upgrades include an ST-tuned sport suspension and an available performance brake package.

“Edge ST puts a new animal on the road – a performance SUV with a track mentality,” said Hau Thai-Tang, executive vice president of Product Development and Purchasing. “From a performance standpoint, and with its SUV silhouette and versatility, it sets a new standard Edge fans will love to drive.”

To help it stand out from the rest of the 2019 Edge models, the Edge ST features unique front and rear styling with a mesh grille, sportier side skirts and dual-exhaust outlets. It also rides on unique 21-inch wheels.
