Earlier this month Jaguar unveiled its new XF wagon and now that Buick is about to jump back in the wagon segment, maybe there’s hope that wagons could become popular again. Buick unveiled the 2018 Regal TourX wagon in April at the New York Auto Show and now we’ve learned that it will start just under $30k.
The 2018 Buick Regal TourX arrives later this year
According to CarsDirect, the 2018 Buick Regal TourX will start at $29,995 including destination for the Regal TourX 1SV trim level. It will come standard with 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors and active noise cancellation. The Regal TourX will be powered by a standard 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive will also be standard.
Moving up from the 1SV trim level, the Regal TourX Preferred 1SB will start at $33,575 and add features like, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power driver’s seat and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The top trim level will be the Regal TourX Essence 1SL, which starts at $35,945. It comes standard with leather seats, an eight-inch infotainment system and dual-zone climate control. If you add another $2,915 to the price you’ll get safety features, like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking.
The 2018 Regal TourX will arrive later this year.
