The V6 is mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The RS4 Avant has a top speed of 155 mph, but that can be increased to 174 mph with the optional RS dynamic package.
The RS4 Avant rides sits seven millimeters lower than the A4 basic model with sport suspension and its wheel arches are 30 millimeters wider. There are some other performance options like, the RS sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, ceramic brakes and RS-specific dynamic steering.
Inside there are RS sport seats with an optional honeycomb pattern, flat-bottomed RS steering wheel and the shift gate and the illuminated door sill trims are all adorned with the RS emblem. In the Audi virtual cockpit and head-up display, RS-specific displays indicate the g-forces, tire pressures and torque.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Europe, the 2018 Audi RS4 Avant will be priced at €79,800 when it arrives in early 2018.
